Fifth batch of reissue series, bringing back the legendary productions of Duke Reid, founder and owner of "The Trojan" soundsystem and several record labels, amongst which “Treasure Isle” is the most famous.
With his groundbreaking Ska and Rocksteady productions he was dominating the Jamaican music scene in the mid and late 60s. Many artists, later to become legends, made their first steps into the recording booth at 33 Bond Street, Duke Reid’s studio right above his liquor shop in Kingston Jamaica.
