Description
Second album by the Parisian soul and rhythm'n'blues formation. The quintet around the new singer Sonia Nickel was founded in Paris in 2015.
The wonderfully gnarly vintage production perfectly complements the variety of the songs, all of which come up with wonderful grooves, addictive melodies and great arrangements, the classic band line-up, extended by a baritone saxophone, covers a wide range from old heroes like Etta James and Big Maybelle to Kent , Federal, Stax, Norton and Motown to Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones or Charles Bradley.
Many contemporary and political issues are also addressed in French and English. Chapeau!
