The Ace came together, as far back as 2008, out of the ashes of a band called The Freebooting Profiteers.Their '66 style, Freakbeat/Beat Garage tunes were recorded in Ghost Town Studios, in Leeds with Ross Haldon. Various cds were released and the band have had great support from Bill Kelly on WMFU, New Jersey. Mike Murray on WRUR, Rochester, NY.
